The benefits of using halal beauty products is a key motivator in launching the Prettysuci brand. What constitutes a halal-certified product? The formula doesn’t contain parts or substances of animals like pigs and dogs, products must be handled with clean utensils, and are made with “materials that are not harmful to humans.” But halal goes beyond ingredients and product-handling to include “manufacturing, packaging, distribution, and logics to ensure your cosmetics are halal. Although the halal beauty market first emerged to cater to Muslim consumers, these aspects of the market have proven to intrigue non-Muslim consumers as well, hence Prettysuci’s  aims to provide halal beauty for all.

The ladies behind the Pretty Suci brand

Prettysuci is the brainchild of two young entrepreneurs, Tunku Dato’ Kaiyisah Kamil Ikram and Natasha Mohammad Ozeir, who decided to take their mutual love of makeup to the next level by putting halal beauty on a global stage and making it accessible to women all over the globe. Both women, already successful business women in her own right have applied their creativity and innovative vision towards combing the global beauty industry with halal beauty brands that would be suitable retailers on Prettysuci.

“Beauty is something all women have intrinsically, and the products we offer via Prettysuci is merely a tool with which they can enhance that beauty. Similarly, we hope that Prettysuci’s success will also become a medium of hope and encouragement to women who aspire to creating their own success stories,” adds Tunku Kaiyisah.

“We want to present Prettysuci to the world as a brand that can compete side-by-side with other beauty platforms because Halal beauty spreads across cultures and is not just for Muslims. Prettysuci is a brand that gives you options and will stay timeless so, be prepared to live with us for a very long time,” says Natasha candidly.

Get your hands on these irresistible lip creams available in two colors – a nude Cek Mek Molek and a more berry-hued Minah Jambu – the matte, yet velvety, non-drying formula gained instant recognition resulting in more than 4,000 tubes being sold via social media sales only since it launched during Ramadan last year. Keeping in line with their philosophy, the Prettysuci lip creams are produced entirely in Malaysia, using only halal-certified and cruelty-free ingredients.
